WINEMAKING NOTES Following harvest, the grapes were transported to the winery where they were gently whole bunch pressed releasing only the finest quality free run juice. After cold settling overnight, the resulting juice was cool fermented in a stainless steel tank with a selected yeast strain, retaining the aromatic qualities of the grapes. The wine was stop-fermented when the balance of residual sugar, acidity, and fruit expression was optimal. It then was fined, filtered, and bottled early, preserving the fruit characters.
TASTING NOTES Light yellow gold in colour, this wine shows typical Gewurztraminer varietal characters of spice, lychee, and white peace with background rose petal notes. The palate is fruit driven and medium dry with grapefruit and lychee flavours. The residual sugar is balanced by the acidity, leading to a long clean finish.
